Moroccan music
Hassan El Hadi and the World Quartet : A festive and original music emerging from the cultural blending of its musicians: Maghreb, North Africa, Québec, Acadie, and Celtic countries are all involved and interwoven in this tapestry. The master of Oud Hassan El Hadi does not simply salute Quebec, but it is deeply rooted in it by revisiting the traditional music of the beautiful province, the good old man reel to “mon onc” and some memorable titles from La Bolduc, to which he combines traditional Moroccan music to sign original arrangements and compositions. Meeting of continents, fusion of cultures, blending of rhythms, the music of Hassan and the World Quartet will make us dance in a world of colours, festivities, and journeys.
